Faces in the crowd…

21/04/2014

Walking down to the art suppliers I saw these faces then the warehouse under renovation. Are they past or future local inhabitants? I have no idea but enjoyed this temporary art which brightened up my day. Thanks to the artist/s for your work.

Brancusi’s Studio in Paris

31/03/2014

Some places I never tire of visiting and this, just by the Pompidou Centre in Paris, is one. Brancusi gave his studio to the nation with the pre-condition that it remained exactly as he had left it. Temporary tree sculpture

13/03/2014

It hits you as soon as you walk in due, in large part, to the rotunda under which is the beautifully detailed spiralling staircase. The members room is now finally in a proper space – I actively looking forward […]

06/01/2014

Fresh new ventures for the New Year include the Fara workshop recently opened right next to the Crafts Council offices in Islington. This is the latest project by the Fara Foundation, a charity working with children in Romania. Donated fabric is made into garments for sale by the in-house design team who will also be offering […]
