Lighting has become a larger product area than ever before, and not before time as it’s such an important aspect of any interior, a fact recognised with the introduction of Light Junction, a new section within Design Junction this year.
Here are a few of the lights seen, as ever only a taster (in a minute!) of the choice available. I hate glare so appreciated this half mirrored bulb for a wall light by CTO Lighting.
Apollo by International Studio – a modular system with four elements, combined as required to create the light you want. Their warm metallics are right on trend.
Hungarian Pos1t1on Collective showed these metal pendants, another example of modular construction. Spot that copper again – it’s everywhere.
We’ve seen paper folded lights before; now Foldability, run by Kyla McCallum, has developed the origami technique even further for new shapes and functions. I also really liked her acoustic wall, just seen on the right.
