I popped over to Earls Court last week for a quick visit to Home, Craft & Top Drawer on the opening day just to see what was happening and to keep my “commercial” eye in. This was the first time that there was a dedicated Craft section and I was curious to discover who was showing.
Several familiar faces were there including N and N, Dove Street Pottery and Jin Eui Kim, all of whom I’ve mentioned before.
Emma Jeffs of N and N was delighted with the response as she was seeing buyers who might not have otherwise come across her work. Showing at a new fair is always a risk and I’m pleased it paid off for her. Now that scarf design above really shows what subtlety digital printing can achieve.
Jin Eui Kim was busy with his lidded containers as was David Worsley with those honest mugs and so cute little jugs, always good to see.
