This is one of my highlights during the festival. I love seeing the mix of new, developing and established brands along with displays and site-specific installations. It was all here this time and so relaxed; maybe that was just my frame of mind!
I was delighted to see Ian McIntyre’s ceramics with Another Country displaying new products (see my earlier posts); their furniture is so relevant to many peoples’ lives and will last for generations.
Talking of furniture I couldn’t keep my hands off the wood and leather stools at Devon-based Young and Norgate either.
And I definitely had a leather thing going on with Kristalia’s swivel armchair.
Graypants were there too with new lights – this picture shows the quality of light coming through which I hadn’t shown last time I wrote about them.
Beau McClellan’s chandelier hung from the top story with the mirrored lamps changing colour as the day wore on. Below this was the clay modelling demonstration along with different models of Jaguar cars.
Argh, I’m over the minute so had better stop. If you’d like to learn more then let me know. Just one more pic, this time of the clay modelling as he is so skilled! 36 years of experience. Part 2 to follow…
