London is awash with art exhibitions and gallery openings mid-October with Frieze in the lead. One show always worth visiting is The Other Art Fair where artists present their work direct to the public. I attended the private view at the Truman Brewery in Brick Lane so here are some of the artists I met.
Alison McKenna hadn’t seen her artwork on the fair guide till the private view which was quite a surprise. Her original landscape inspired pieces are below.
The abstracts are exuberant and joyous.
Landscapes and still lives were shown by Deborah Ann, using paper as paint in precise and sensitive collages to create thoughtful compositions.
