I do like the selection of designers Thomas Eyck collaborates with and want to focus on 2 of them in this post, notably for their use of colour.
Irma Boom has created a book derived from specific Unesco protected sites. Each page is a record of the colours seen at a particular location so the wallpaper produced from this research will inevitably capture a certain mood.
Scholten & Baijings are well known for their use of bright colour so I was impressed to see a softer ombré interpretation in their ceramic collection.
This snap I took gives you an idea; it’s all about the intensity of application.
