Hooray! Another classic British brand has been saved. Seen at 100% Design, Branksome China, established in 1945, has been bought by a newer classic company the BTC Group, (whose timeless BTC lighting I have in my house) doing a Chanel by buying up small specialist manufacturers thus retaining skills which might otherwise be lost.
Production has just been moved up to Stoke-on-Trent, the home of ceramics, and the original range and colours remain the same for the time being. I was struck by the fact that some colour combinations feel very contemporary yet am assured that they are all original.
They have plenty to play with in their archive so I look forward to what will happen next.

I’m sorry, there doesn’t seem to be a website – all I can suggest is that you try Ebay or another second-hand site. Good luck!
