Kansas-born, London-based Lindsey showed her cushions, kitchen textiles and tiles at Pulse recently where I caught up with her.
I’d already noticed her distinctive prints at Home earlier this year so was interested to see how the collection had progressed. This time she’s added concrete tiles and kitchen items to the range.
I was particularly intrigued by the “hot handle” for saucepans – the shape came from her grandmother who used one all the time. You can see it on the left below. I also liked the fact that the felt in her oven mitts protects hands from both sides.
Fabric by the metre is apparently on the cards so I’m looking forward to seeing how the concept moves on…
