It’s always worth setting aside at least a couple of hours for the London Art Fair, the largest art fair in January held at the Business Design Centre in Islington as you get to see a comprehensive selection of art from the 20th & 21st centuries.
Vigo Gallery showed from their regular stable of artists: Zak Ové’s exuberant crochet panel is to the left of one of Oliver Marsden’s characteristic shimmering circles.
Union Gallery showed this intriguing piece by James Hopkins; I walked all around it and the flame remained at the centre of the glass of water when seen through the glass pane. Definitely one to try out at home.
