In addition to the lighting already featured, furniture and accessories worth noting included:
Axel Schoenert Architectes Associés, a well established practice based in Paris, showed furniture for the new 61 Paris Nation Hotel, a four star hotel due to open next year.
As you can see, it gives a more than a nod to mid-20th Century style.
A more brut approach to furniture was shown by Damien Hamon of Daha with precisely sawn cubes of green wood painted and gilded to form modular sculpture.
Various colleges also showed work. I liked this idea of a sociable drinking system by Chloé Petitjean of ESAD Valenciennes
Anne Merceron, studying at EESAB, showed her Venus wedding dress created entirely from fruit and vegetable peelings and decorated with seeds. The idea of wearing such a carefully constructed dress for a special occasion then planting it to create food really appeals.
