Meet My Project in Paris

14/02/2013

I’ve already mentioned this exhibition and exhibitors in an earlier post. Here are a few of the other pieces which caught my eye:

Elise Hauville (3)

Elise Hauville showed Manège, a box that opens into multiple smaller boxes like the unfurling petals of a flower. A beautiful and poetic piece demonstrating that not everything needs an obvious function.

Shohan (1)

The thinking behind  D-Carré, the shelving system by Shohan appealed to me: no screws or glue, just pegs are required to construct the flexible modular system which can be dismantled  and reconstructed without waste.

Tuukka Halonen created the wooden Pilkelight which requireds no tools or glue.

Tuukka Halonen- Showroom Finland

I mustn’t forget the Cellbag by The Labstore, a sturdy integrated water carrier and bag.
