M & O heralded the autumn interiors show season with new designs and products aplenty. This time I was also able to get to quite a few of the other events happening in Paris as you have already seen.
There had already been an indication of the ombré trend last season which I had predicted and worked on for a client over a year ago. It figured more strongly this time in collections from Moroso and Thomas Eyck amongst others.
Another theme connected to this was purity and simplicity. It was good to see Maya Selway’s work included – see below. You can see a previous post about her in my archive.
Studio Juju’s Corian plates have a softness and warmth not normally associated with tableware.
