Jewellery at Collect is an area that can overwhelm as there is so much of it shown. Here is a tiny selection however of items that caught my eye.
Antonella Villanova, a jewellery and design gallery in Florence showed this Klein blue spattered mineral necklace by Catalina Brenes. It was good to see a large piece rather than just the rings.
More chunks of organic matter, this time apple wood burrs, were shown by Jenny Klemming at Galerie Marzee .
Also at Marzee, these intriguing objects by Marta Mattsson; I just had to put the two pieces together before carefully returning them to their original display. Inspired by the cabinet of curiosity it’s apparently a brooch but I’d much rather contemplate it than wear it.
