Many people tell me that artwork on canvas is perceived as having a greater value than work on paper. Much of my recent work has been on paper although I also work on canvas and sometimes just with fabric – it depends what I’m trying to express at the time.
Anyway, what I’m saying is that I love the unique quality paper has and here are a few examples, seen at Art16, to illustrate my point. And, yes, many are Asian and calligraphic so have affinities with my art.
