I popped in to the recent Country Living Fair heading, as usual for the food stands, and found a few other things besides as you can see below.
First of all though, I liked the Irish coffee kit offered by Coole Swan. I don’t have a great tolerance for whiskey, cream or coffee separately but adore and can digest Irish Coffee so was impressed. They guarantee the absence of artificial additives too and post free of charge anywhere in the world. And they have loads of recipes on their site including one for white chocolate fudge. Mmmm.
As I was rushing around, I didn’t have the chance to stop at new shoe company Air & Grace London (the founder,Claire Burrows, was busy with a customer) so just grabbed a card and am delighted to see that she’ s based in Dalston – very handy for a visit. Comfortable and stylish shoes you can run in are inevitably going to be popular in my book.
Samantha Sweet Glass, right by Green and Black’s chocolate stand (their butterscotch chocolate as well as the salted caramel found their way into my bag), had a small display of beautiful cut crystal milk bottles.
I did manage a quick chat with former interior designer Jane, who had just launched The Cornish Design Company, showcasing a collection of interior accessories all produced in the UK.
I’m sorry about the lack of images this time (all from the websites) but I was running through on the way to somewhere else that evening.
