Those who know me are aware of my terrible weakness for a good notebook. I have stacks of different ones (all used) as gifts often come my way. I did try to kid myself that I was looking for the perfect one: good plain paper (I hate lines) which can take ink from a fountain pen and sturdy enough to withstand the inevitable battering of regular use.
Whenever I visit a trade show I’m inexorably drawn to the stationery stands and ask where their stockists are.
I’m a big fan of Danish company Hay who produce sublime accessories as seen below
Then there is Quill London, a recent online stationery shop run by Lucy Edmonds which has a selection of cute books and accessories including these notebooks by Brown Paper.
I do dream of a lovely tidy row of matching notebooks but know that it will never happen as I’ll always be searching for the “perfect ” one. Any ideas welcome.
