Yes, the name means what it says: this was the old Bethnal Green Town Hall , now converted into a boutique hotel and apartments. The bar and gourmet restaurant are open to non-residents making this a welcome meeting place in Bethnal Green. The location is ideal for access to the City as well as other parts of the East End, the creative hub of London.
Their most publicised room is the old council chamber, now the “largest bedroom in London” mainly used for private dining and events – it has a private kitchen so completely self-contained. As you can see from this photo the bedroom suite is behind a glass partition. I suspect it will see far more use for events than as a bedroom- it’s very much a party space

Other rooms are more intimate and a great deal if you’re staying in town for a while: contemporary studio apartments with fully fitted kitchens and classic furniture.
