South Place Hotel, London

12/02/2013

Suite (3) PIN IT
Restaurant (1) PIN IT

As you know, every so often I visit a recently opened London hotel. This time it was South Place, just off Finsbury Square in the City. Owned by D&D with architecture by Allies & Morrison and interior design by Conran + Partners, it has a contemporary style, with great lighting and accessories. I liked the laser cut screens in the Angler restaurant too.

Meeting rooms (2) PIN IT

It’s funny being able to look into offices from the terrace. Conducting a meeting while people are enjoying themselves just outside your window must be a bit disconcerting.

Terrace (2) PIN IT

The vibe is contemporary London, with artworks by local (East End) artists and rooms named after fictional secret agents and spies including Steed and Peel both from 60s cult TV series The Avengers. Peel is below.
