The coming of Spring is a perennial delight, the sight of new life lifting the spirits. On one of my recent forays outside London we visited Evenley Wood, a charming woodland plantation created by Timothy Whiteley where drifts of over 80 varieties of snowdrop dominate at this time of the year.
and aconites are also in flower at the moment.
You can actually buy some of the plants there or at least take notes as they are mostly labelled. It’s worth visiting every month just to see what’s coming through.
