I caught sight of this sculpture by Michael Visocchi & poet Lemn Sissay in Fen Court from a distance during one of my bike rides in a deserted City of London recently. It was unveiled back in 2008 to commemorate the abolition of the transatlantic slave trade in 1807.
The complete integration of text and shapes produces a powerful piece of work
with the full poem reproduced on a plaque nearby.
