2 Temple Place, another hidden gem in London.

A friend tipped me off about this building as  it is rarely open to the public.

2 Temple Place was built in the 1890s by William Astor,arguably the world’s wealthiest man at that time. He planned it as his estate office with, as may be seen, no expense spared.

The cherubs by the front door are completely au fait with the latest technological developments of the time.

Once inside the wooden carving, mosaic floors and stained glass confirm the status of the owner’s wealth.
