Light Calligraphy by Julien Breton

I was impressed by the beauty and impermanence of Julien Breton aka Kalaam’s work which recently popped into my in box. He combines a style of calligraphy, inspired by hip-hop, french, arabic, chinese and japanese culminating in a hybrid script. He started with paper then moved onto computers and light using bodies to create the writing. It isn’t just pattern as the last image shows so clearly.
