If you like contemplative objects then Korean ceramist Jin Eui Kim is worth investigating.
His precise pieces work with optical illusion in cool neutrals which to me invite touching as well as looking. You can actually feel the meditative nature of making and painting in this work.
He’s based in Cardiff but exhibits all over the place so please visit his website for future shows.
