This company has always been known for their beautifully embroidered fabrics in historical and traditional designs. All very lovely and covetable but limited in their market appeal.
Imagine my surprise when I saw their new lacquered furniture collection. Whoa, They’re suddenly in the mid-20th Century!
Looking back I can see the progression from their first Gustavian furniture collection and the Scandinavian thread remains but it’s still a bit of a shock to the system. It looks fantastic and works really well with the older stuff. They have cleverly opened up a new client base and developed their existing business.
I could not have put it better myself
Thanks Mona,
I’ll introduce myself next time I’m in the Walton Street shop if you’re there.
I would really like that Caroline.
