Jessica Zoob’s work is featured at Decorex this year and she has also a current show with the Loughran Gallery in London where I saw some of these.
With her background in scene painting she’s used to working on a large scale. I always love the experience of immersion one can achieve with large works of art but space (and price) is always the issue, something that came up at the private view where one of her triptychs, Dancing Angels 1, 2 & 3, was for sale as separate pieces and indeed sold as such.
As with so many things, the photos only give an idea of the work itself but I hope you get an idea of her layering of colour and texture to evoke mood and remembered emotion.
