A friend introduced me to her work several years ago but this is the first time I’d seen so many of her paintings in one place.
She is another artist who makes me want to learn more about oil painting.
I love the energy of her brush strokes and the colouration too, often referencing the work of old masters.
That’s even without mentioning her subject matter: people living their own stories in their own worlds, irrespective of whether we are looking at them or not.
