Wandering round the back streets of Bermondsey I wanted to show a friend Andrew Logan’s house, not realising that it was now the Kristin Hjellegjerde gallery in SE1.
Kristin Hjellegjerde is a gallerist I’ve admired and followed since first meeting her several years ago at her first gallery in Wandsworth.

Gerald Chukwuma’s solo show, Eclipse of the Scrolls, was just about to end and, as it was a glorious day, we were able to see his work in strong sunlight.

The decor inside the Glasshouse has remained largely intact and with a blue sky overhead we certainly didn’t feel that we were in London. The kitchen has remained untouched, visible though out of bounds
