Jean-David Malat, director of JD Malat, presented a group show, The Contemporary Human Condition, which I was able to see in March just before the shutdown. The range of work was broad, as is the subject, and here are a few of the works including Liu Fei‘s trademark bald women.
Mio Yamato, with her mesmeric lines like a contour map, and
Masayoshi Nojo’s huge shimmering aluminium, silver and pigment treescape.
The three-dimensionality of Conrad Jon Godly‘s landscape is only hinted at here
while Alter, by Henrik Uldalen, brings us back to a human scale.
