Ah, John Galvin. I am an unashamed fan of his work as previous posts attest and loved the use of Purple Heart wood for the inside of his minutely detailed American black walnut drinks cabinet.
I’m assured that all his wood is sustainably sourced which only makes it better.
Katie Walker showed her interpretation of the Windsor chair, seen here on a Ptolemy Mann rug. It’s a sensual rocking version with a lovely little footstool for relaxation or intimate conversations.
Once more , I am seduced by the quality of craftsmanship – just look at the detailing and quality of finish as the sheen over the peg on the left of the photo shows.
