Contemporary Glass – part 1 of 3

22/07/2013

There is something compelling about glass: its clarity and reflectivity as well as the delicacy and intensity of colour. I find the alchemy of the material mesmerising so here are a few photos of what I saw at Collect earlier in the year. Looking through my photos I realised that there is a lot I want to share so this is the first of 3 posts.

And if you want to see a comprehensive overview of glass throughout history then I strongly recommend the Glass Gallery at the V&A, one of the best museums in the world.
