There’s something about splashy abstract painting that moves me in a way I can’t explain and here’s another artist who does it for me.
I first saw Gail Harvey’s work a few years ago at the London Art Fair where I took this photo. I can’t tell you which gallery showed her work as there was nothing on the label I photographed as identification. 
The others below are from the web as the lighting in mine was so bad. Her work deals with the elemental forces experienced in Shetland where she lives and I really feel that power in the paintings. 
Not forgetting her sense of colour.
