I completely fell in love with Jess Shaw‘s light when I saw it at Tent. She told me that it had been produced at very short notice which, to me, demonstrates that she really knows what she’s doing. I also learnt that she’s had a bit of a break due to other commitments so I hope this is the beginning of her next phase of work.
The Old Man’s Beard light is by its very nature impermanent yet reminded me of Studio Drift’s dandelion and LED chandelier, one of the most exquisite pieces I’ve seen in recent years..
